Fished the Columbia this weekend
« on: August 03, 2008, 08:47:17 PM »
Went to our annual family reunion near Cathlamet and plunked from shore for a couple hours. Had four fish on and lost them all, very light biters right now, hard to get a hook set but lot's of Steelies rolling. Fish and Game surveyor showed up and she asked me what I was fishing for, I told her and she wasn't aware salmon was open for Coho, or what day it was. :chuckle:

Pretty good info to have when your doing surveys.....

Dman.....Geeze you missed the big bite. She was asking you a baited question. Had you answered with "cougar" she may helped you out.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
