Trophy room pictures. Let's see them!
« on: April 29, 2012, 08:24:17 PM »
Hey guys
Designing a trophy room and wanted to see if you guys had pictures of your own "man cave". Im not trying to copy, just trying to get an idea for color scheme and arrangement of animals.

My bedroom, oops wrong forum.
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

Yeah me too ...but my garage is too !! Being a hunter and a carpenter I would say the biggest  thing is having vaulted ceilings ...and not so many windows So you can place all your trophies...maybe add some walls that have shelves on top to set the little critters .... :twocents:

I would do a search for Trophy Room on the forum.  This topic comes up a few times per year.  You will see some good threads with lots of trophy room pics.

P.s. Some people won't post theirs as you don't want people casing your home.  Potential for break-ins.

I've seen a couple serious trophy rooms and they all had 1 thing in common...Walls sheeted in plywood. You can hang your mounts where ever you want and not have to worry about studs and/or anchors pulling out of sheetrock.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
