Hey guys this is the hunter, I figure since JC said you guys had questions I'll give you a little info. Not all the goods though! I want to draw this tag again! ;)

Bear was shot in Western WA with a bow by sitting along a creek that I had seen a bear use prior to the season. It's an area where I guess it's kind of a bottleneck so if anything was to pass thru I would have a 50% chance at a shot. We sat countless hours with not a single sign of life and the scouting finally has paid off! What makes this bear my most prized to date is that my other 2 were over bait and this is my first public land bear!! It's an awesome feeling when you are rewarded after all of your hard work! That and my wife and JC were sitting there next to me to see it all go down! I'm still pumped up and in disbelief at how perfect the night went! Thanks for all the congrats, And yes I was sitting about 3 feet behind that bear! After seeing the pictures I didn't have to do that with him. He is a dandy bear that we GUESS to be around 300lbs. Taxidermist told me today that the skull is around 19".

Sorry.   No way is that a 300 pound bear.

That's about a 9,000 pounder!

That thing looks like it's head would go 300 in that first pic.

How awesome to get it with a bow with family/loved ones right there.     Tooooooo cool for you.

Great Bear.....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
