Gray squirrels
« on: May 09, 2012, 03:36:20 PM »
So I was reading the other day that western grays are protected and cannot be hunted, but eastern grays are non-game animals and are the ones that you see all over the place. And since they are non-game you can hunt them year-round. Is this true?

Yes,  Eastern Grays, about twice the size of the native Western Grays, are considered an Invasive Species, and like Starlings, House Sparrows, Eurasian Collared Doves, are fair game any time of the year.  They just recently started showing up around here, so I don't see them specifically named in the regs--yet.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.
