My dad's at drano fishing now.  I guess he pick up a few fish yesterday.   He's the crazy old guy fishing from a blue canoe.

Heard the Snake was dead during the last day below Ice Harbor.  My Coworker said he didn't see one fish caught.

Isn't that nice they gave a whole 24 hours notice of the closure.  We always get screwed on the Snake during this fishery.  Fishing was great at Little Goose and now it's closed. And then they reopened the lower Columbia over the weekend and the Clearwater will stay open for a long time.  Sucks!!!Wicks

How do you think Idaho feels about us catching all their fish?  :yike:  They are the ones getting screwed.  You want a longer season on the snake in washington, our state is gonna have to plant some fish!!!!!!!!!!

I think they should take more of the allotment away from the lower river fishery and give it to the Snake river fishery! at least on the snake they know how many fish have crossed the dams! But because the lower river generates more money for the metropolitan area of Portland I do not see that happening any time soon. All they care about on the lower river is getting there and screw everyone else! It sucks but it is what it is!

maybe if they closed the lower river off for a couple years, say three, there wouldnt be such a problem upriver & on the snake?? of course they would have to stop the nets also. just a thought.

what sucks for us in the southeast corner is that the Ice Harbor section of the snake caught 1255 fish,  the Little Goose area caught 990 fish, the Lower Granite area caught 19 and the Clarkston area caught 26 before they decided to close the river today!   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: We got screwed and no lube.  :yike:
