Swanny - were the zemgear pretty durable on the soles?  Would they offer enough protection/grip to wade a stream in?

You could wade through a stream in them no problem I think, since rocks tent to be round and smooth.. I wouldn't hike a trail in them though.

Crocs!  As light as they come and comfortable walking around camp.  Cheap too.

Zemgear kinda look, " treehuggerish ". Ya might get some funny looks if ya know what I mean.

crocs.  super light...and they still have a little bit of toe protection.
