I'm pretty sure I had a monster fish on that got me wrapped up in the kelp then when the fish came off I got caught up in the kelp.

Just checked my pm inbox, no invite there....  no text invite or missed call either... email?  Nope.  Letter in the mail?  Nope.  Smoke signals?  Nope.  Hmm, wonder where it is.......   :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

D-Rock,  If you think about it you could have this made into a made for TV series.   It could be titled The Mis-Adventures of D-Rock and H20?  It would be compared to such well know outdoor shows and Man -vs- Wild, Survivorman, Duel Survival etc...

Opening of the series could center on your battle with this Giant Octo-kelp and the Rock it clutched as you overpowered it to the surface to claimed dominance over it as you are an apex predator...

I dunno,  anyways H20's story of your battle did bring a smile to my face though.  Thanks!

H20, you are high if you think I'm going to let this thread get buried before you post up the vid containing the epic battle of KelpZilla...

I'll see what I can do. Ripper is having me along for bear hunting tomorrow. I plan to run the camera with or without a kill. Maybe while I'm at it I will put it up. It was an epic battle. Sad thing is we never bothered to pick up the camera to film anything we actually caught. We both landed some nice rockfish that would have been good.

I kid and all but it was a good trip none the less. I would have liked to send him home with some nice filets but that was not to be. Nice just to be out fishing with folks that enjoy it.

C'mon ladies just let it be.  I'm not sure you'll ready for it.

You will have to petition D-Rock for permission.

If he says post it then MAYBE you will get to see the battle.

You're up, D-Rock.  If public posting is a no-go, my inbox still has some room in it... :chuckle:
