Nice job on the fish, we were at neah bay and had a hell of a time getting our limits. The water was really, really rough. We managed to come home with 30lbs of fillets each 3 of us on a 21ft boat. Our biggest ling was 20 and our biggest hali was also 20. How was the water for you guys?

Yeah the water was awsome it was like being in the sound.  We where at the SW corner also and I think we boated somthing like 30-33 but's by the time we got our lings.  Biggest but was 53# and biggest ling was 35#.  3 day trip 4 guys we each got about 90# of vacume packed fish to take home.  It was a good trip.

Any pictures of the big fish? 53# is a good grade for the SW corner. 35# ling is big too! I agree it was like pond water out there, looks like its going to be similar this weekend.

Were you fishing swifture? It can get rough there with converging tidal flows and wind being channeled through the straights. I was able to cruise an honest 22-24knots the 46 miles to the SW corner and it was smoooooth running

That's where we were. Had a hard time getting our hali's until we switched to sardines, after that we had 3 hali's in the boat in 30 minutes.

Way to go....   (yeah I know, it's a late post, whatever)
Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."
