Yeah, unless you are a vampire you won't be around when those things go bad... :chuckle:

 :chuckle: :chuckle:

There are pluses to MRE's I guess... Just took a couple grunts to figure it out :chuckle:

Another note.... Lasagna cheese on MH.... WOW...... Not to be followed up with coffee and a dip...... You, the wildlife, your pard, and what ever is nearby when it's go time will never be the same....
I guess that's another binny to a MRE.... If you eat one the night before your hunt, eat them primarily for your hunt, you shouldn't need toilet paper for the duration of your hunt! From porcelain to porcelain!

No kidding the weight of my MSR stove and mountain house compared to the weight of MRE and no stove would be far greater...plus Id rather have some hot food in crappy weather.

And I can think of a hundred different foods I could prepare that taste better than MRE's for same weight

I have been using Mountain House for years for hunting and hiking.  Excellent stuff.  Especially the Turkey Tetrazzini.  Bummer they dont make it anymore.
Simple...easy, tasty, and the package afterwards folds up real slick so you can pack it out.
Been using it for over 25 years and have never had a bad one.
If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.
