The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.
I did a power point presentation on this same thing in college. My biggest problem is how it effects native fish runs!
I will sign a petition to blowup a damn when 2 nuclear power plants are built and running to replace the energy lost. I love reservoirs. usu good fishing and good times.
I live by a dam, a good river (the columbia), great fishing and great times
Fact is.......it isn't ALL about the fish. IF it was, we wouldn't eat them, net them, etc. When I was a Fish and Wildlife major in college, we toured the Dwarshack dam. Now....it's been some time, but I recall on that tour that it was a kill facility. ALL fish were killed and harvested for their eggs and milt which was run through their hatchery. All fish.....want to talk about natives?
But....for me the idea of breaching dams is right up there with making Obama our long time dictator. Both horribibly foolish.
As I said, I don't know enough about that exact situation. I am pro dam and anti windmill. My point was that a dam doesn't kill everything.
i would have to say that we have enough dams, wind ect.. in this state. if i remember correctly, the pwr companies are selling tons of electricity to other states, calif being the biggest user, so wa should be producing more than enough for our own needs. I dont care if the excess gets sold off but i see no reason to distroy an ecosystem in this state to create additional power. especially in a system that is being designated for protection by the state legislature & nominated for fed protection by the usfs.
A 150 million dollar project ought to create some jobs
