Question on Wyoming Hunt
« on: May 24, 2012, 11:14:01 AM »
Does anyone have experience or advice about region D or G for mule deer and unit 93/94 for antelope?

These are the likely units we will be trying for.

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Thanks, I should have prefaced this with the fact that I'm just looking for peoples experiences in these units. I've spent the last week ordering maps, talking to biologists, studying draw odds and success rates.

If you have 3+ points for mule deer Id consider putting in for points only if you have the patience b/c the mule deer numbers are way down...in region G at least. Winter kill has been a killer.
Take up your bow, a quiver full of arrows, head out to the country and hunt some wild game.  GEN 27:3

I'm just getting going on points so I have a few years.  This was also expressed to me by the bio.  He also said Eastman's magazine running articles about how great Region D is hasn't helped...
