“Rebel’s Record includes 24 MH passes in a row, 9 HRCH passes earning his title without a failure. A finalist at the 2006 Master National. Rebel qualified for the MNR in ’04,’05,’06 and ’07. Rebel loves to train, compete and go hunting. He is an excellent marker, runs great lines on his blinds and he is very tractable. Reb is a happy dog who gets along well with other dogs and loves people, especially kids. He loves to hang out with Dom.”

Kaie completed 4 of her required SH passes before reaching 2YO. (Owner should have done her JH first ) Kaie is an excellent hunting dog who loves being in the field. She is a nice handling dog and has continued to constantly improve in all areas and adapts quickly to new hunting styles and situations with ease. Kaie has an outstanding personality and will work for anyone with a gun and a whistle. 2011 Duck season Kaie was hunted multiple times a week on a share-lease with many different groups of hunters. Her 2011 trip to South Dakota proved her skills working wild roosters. Kaie’s show career has been stellar. She earned her conformation title very quickly gaining points and winning majors in the first couple dog show entries. Kaie was awarded Best of Opposite at the 2011 Evergreen Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club Regional Specialty. She has more than half her needed points for her Grand Champion Title which I expect her to earn in 2012. Kaie has the friendliest and most charming personality you will ever see in a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She loves people, kids and all animals…..

Pups will have first shots, worming, dewclaws removed, DM tested, introduced to water and birds.

Good looking Chessies!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Rebel is a solid dog. He's built like a linebacker. Big head and shoulders. He's now retired but, when he was competing, he was something to see.

Had a little brag on Kaie from the weekend. She won Select Bitch at the Puyallup dog show on Saturday and won Best of Breed on Sunday. She's only a couple of points away from getting her Foo-Foo Grand Champion title. Won't be able to get it before pups are down (hopefully) but, she's won the big shows and only needs a couple of easy points now. It will put her in a fairly small group of Chessies nationwide which have an AKC GrandCH and a AKC Senior Hunter title.

I'm getting excited and hope all goes well here on forward. For now, she's been out cleaning up all the Chukars on the farm that all the pointing dogs at the hunt tests can't seem to find  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Vet just confirmed she has pups on board via ultrasound. Not speculating on count but, she said it looks like she'll have a good sized litter. July 31 is due date..
