I did'nt even look at your guess  :dunno: I looked at the bull and immediately thought 305...then scrolled ahead and saw PV's score..then said...wait a minute...went back to the pic with a calc and gave him what I thought were generous measurements and came up with 328...then subtracted the couple kickers and some "general" asymmetry and came up with that!

Like mentioned above...I am NOT saying it doesn't score 347...but I sure would like to know where I"m off!

Regardless....I will shoot that bull every year...bow or rifle, opening day without giving it a second thought...you dont see them like that very often!

I put my guess in without realizing that the contest was over, that is a bigger bull than it looks like.  To me the 7th makes the Main beam look shorter than it is and that mass is phat.  Its pretty strong all the way around, obviously I went high at 356 but I'll believe 347 without batting an eye.

Can you post a pic of the state record moose shed you are holding in your av? I am moose shed crazy (along with a few others on this site!).

I've known Jack for 30 years....killed my first bear over Jack's dogs when I was 9 years old...been a long time since I've seen him though...couple years.

You know John at the Sports store in Newport? THey sure do have a sweet wall of pics in that that store...its fun to see the critters that come out of that country every year...

Ernie

PS...dont get too discouraged about us questioning the score on that bull...pics are hard... we aren't calling you a liar, some of us just aren't seeing it....if you say its there....then...its there.
