Here I am wondering about the draw with selfish hopes and I just found out that my 18 year old niece looks to have Lymthoma . If that dosn't just put a damper on the antissipation ! please put her in your prayers .

Hey Coach, will definitely keep her in mind.  My neice had luekemia when she was only 5yo.  She is now a beautiful 24yo woman.  Also, last September, my wife was diagnosed with stage IIIc Ovarian cancer.  Had surgery in early Oct and she made it thru all the follow-up chemo treatments back in mid-march.  Had her first checkup after six weeks and is still cancer free.  If we can make it to the five year mark, chances are good that it won't be back.  They have made several advances in the treatment of cancer and survival rates are much better than the historical statistics.  Its hard on everyone involved when our loved ones have to go thru something like this.

Take care,

ET

thank you all for the thaughts and prayers . Its nice to know that people care . i dont wanna bring down the topic or hi jack the thread , but just keep it real and know that somany other things in life mean so much more than a tag. Sure its great to draw , but we all seem to whine about the system and complain about it when really it's just icing on it all . This deffinantly changes my perspective a bit . I really feel for my sister and brother in law , she lost her oldest daughter in a car wreak driving to her last day of school a few years ago and this is just to much for her to deal with . I really cant imagine what she's going through and waiting for the final results  . my wife has MS but that feels like small beans compared to some of the struggles that others including members on here are going through . Good luck to everyone .

Don't care this year. Not excited about WA draw. Drew my Mule Deer rut tag in Colorado.

What unit did you draw if you don't mind saying?

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I just found out yesterday that I may have a problem. I leave in a half an hour to go get a biopsy. I'm still excited about the drawing, I've been building points for a lot of years, and I want to use some.

I hear you Coach. I go in tomorrow to find out if I have it in my lungs. Good luck to your niece, 18 is too young.

Hey Guys,  I hope you are able to surrond yourselves with good supportive people.  Keep the Hope, it's beatable!  Tough times for sure, but there is hope!   Having beat Cancer 4 tmes now, I can't say enough about those who come along side in these times.  Gather them around you and let them help you beat it!
