Damnit, I just read this.  I was at Costco at noon looking at a gun safe and almost went to Cabela's.  I wish I had known, I would have been there.   :(

Had a real nice visit with Russ and Tenderheart.  Food was ok, but the company made up for it.  Should do this again for others.  Vicki, you got me to consider an east side deer hunt again.  Might be a challenge to take a mule buck with a shotgun in the Snake river breaks.  Did I say with buckshot, hehehe.

Would have made it but had a Jr High School reunion (believe it or not) ... still have a $50 gift card and free Cabelas lunch certificate to use.  A bunch of us westside turkey hunters did the same thing a few years ago at the Hawks Prairie Restuarant ... it was great to put faces and names with the website monikers and posts.  Although I have several hunting buddies for all critters, I do enjoy meeting people with similar interests and might be able to make the next one ...

Nope ... not guilty (this time).  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Due to heavy workload and various family health issues, I just hunted a couple days in Colville area last spring. I did stop for a short visit at Yelp's camp and at my brother's (who lives just outside Almira) on the way home last year.  I've also hunted Davenport area several times.  I also spend a week+ at Sun Lakes every July with family and friends.  Must have been some other crazy turkey nut .....
I have been doing turkey clinics at many South Puget Sound venues including at Cabelas (since they opened, except last year I had a couple NWTF friends do it). I was the NWTF local chapter president in Gig Harbor and on the NWTF Wa State Board of Directors for10+ years plus spent 3 years as Puget Sound District Director.   As a result, I was on TV 3 times, radio 3 times, in a national magazine, a regional magazine, and in numerous articles in several area newspapers in recent years (or if you google Wa Turkey Caller you'll see some videos).
Other than that, I don't think we have met ....
