That's pretty interesting.  The bear in this video moves around like the deer here in w. wa - careful with each step, the wolves move around like the bears - barreling through without a worry in the world.

Good thing you have a wolf tag if the season is still open :IBCOOL:

Thats what I was thinking- a new way of baiting wolves. Just bait for bear.

At the 6 minute mark you will hear a loud bang and the wolf falls over. Weird.
Bang...Flop......No tracking required.

Very soon I think there will be year around wolf hunting in most of the state in an effort to get control of the wolf population, no surprise if baiting is allowed. Baits have been taken over by wolves all over Idaho, glad this footage was captured to show what is happening.

That bear was moving upwind so he could smell anything approaching, notice how careful he is, he is obviously living a life of great fear from wolves, bear are generally not that cautiious even with humans.

I know one of the guys that was involved in the park studies, he told me that they have monitored that when wolves move into a drainage all game (elk, deer, bear, cougar) starts moving out of the drainage. They have found the remains of every type of animal in wolf scat including bear and cougar.

Yeah I agree Dale ...I would be scared sheetless too if I had a pack of wolves running around in my yard ...You would think a bear would not run from a wolf but it goes to show ya how mean and nasty these things are ... :yike:

I have seen videos on TV showing a pack of wolves taking down grizzley's.  As a pack nothing can really compete with them expect another wolf pack.

Damn, and I thought the Wolf season is a quota not specific season.   :bash: :bash:  When I was watching I was hoping I hear a pop followed by a pic of a dead wolf.  And who in the hell let Humanure back out the closet???
