« on: June 02, 2012, 08:10:38 PM »
Hey all I just moved to Spokane and now that I'm settled in I'm looking for a spot close by to hunt some yotes, I was looking at some maps and looked like sprague had some decent spots, also Trumbull but not sure if u can hunt yotes there, I'm living by latah valley so if anyone knows of an area or would like to go out within 20 min of here would be great,Thanks for any advice!

No hunting on Turnbull.  There is a good sized chunk of BLM ground near Sprague that runs between Hog Canyon Lake and Fishtrap lake called the Miller ranch.  If you take the Fishtrap exit and go south and you will find it.  There is an information center by the only house that you can see from the road about 7-8 miles down the road.  The house is a private residence, but you go up their driveway.

Miller ranch is private guided hunting. But If you take the fishtrap exit and head south about a mile the BLM land is called Fishtrap. I would hate to see you get a tresspass fine on Millers place.  There are coyotes there and they get called quite a bit so they are educated well but it never stopped me from trying. Good luck

That is correct
