I heard that the master hunter moose tag is a joke. They rarely ever call anyone. It's a damage control kinda thing. Do you know if it's true? Congrats to your pa on the draw!

well finally after many many many years applying i finally drew my any moose tag, i drew MT Spokane A north it was my 3rd choice but am excited to finally get to hunt one of these awesome animals!

thats great But I am confused So there is a master hunter moose tag  how can this be be when so many guys have 17 pts plus some and they can not get a tag ... I think this is BS .... nOTHEN AGAINST YOUR DAD but I just think this is wrong ....if they want to do something like this then it should be for (all) the hunters 65 and over ...these guys have donated a life time to the Dept and they should be rewarded first !! Just my opinion but a good one ....

I believe the master moose tags are "on call" type tags and most don't even get a call. Maybe some MH's can correct me if I'm wrong.
