Nice, I drew the rifle tag as well!  Looking forward to it!

Never hunted the Chiwawa that time of year.  I've spent a lot of time on the Lake Wenatchee side over the years, but my sense is that most of the migration takes place on the Ardenvoir side.  Was up there this weekend getting a brief lay of the land over there.  Anyway, need to do a lot more learning between now and November.

I drew the tag 4 years ago and held out for a slammer but never found one. We had no snow at all which made it very tough. Plenty of 130/140 class bucks but nothing big and I hunted hard for 9 days. Took a pretty 4 point on day nine (130 class). I can help.I have spent a lot of time there and would do things a bit differently next time around...Funny thing is I got a 180 class buck during the general season the year before so you never know....
