Hunting bear with a bow?
« on: August 15, 2008, 07:47:33 PM »
I am just wondering what methods folks are using hunting with bow. For instance, are you hunting from a tree stand over a berry patch? On the ground? Hunting bear with a bow sounds much more difficult than with a gun. What do you look for and how do you do it?

Thanks.

I look for their back shoulder.  Seriously, took a couple over bait, not an option here and one by calling, quick rush for sure.  Spot and stalk would present a bit more on the challenges but when they are the berry high, they are oblivious to anything else right before the snow comes...
