HOLY PUCKER FACTOR!!!
« on: June 21, 2012, 05:48:11 PM »
It's rare a hunting video gets my heart going, but this one sure did!  This is what bowhunting is all about!  How close can you get???    :yike:

OK, I admit it.

At that range, I'd have let that big boy walk.

I'd have been too afraid to let one loose on him.   I've been near mad cow moose when another moose was down and I had a rifle and I was scared.   That would be beyond scary.

That would be embarrassing to miss at that range, but if anyone could do it, it would be me.  I'll bet the hunter's heart rate was soooooo high he was about to blow a valve!!!  Cool video.

cool video, but you'd think at that range you could put it right in the crease.

I don't think that arrow got far enough from the bow to get any speed going... :chuckle:  That was pretty awesome

Pure instinctive at that range... to hell with the peep and pins... I have to say I got a laugh out of D-Rocks post.

At that range you are dealing with the archers paradox.  So pass through not likely.   I positive I would need to do an emergency shorts clean!

Amazing video indeed.

Just fyi, the arrow is going its absolute fastest the second it leaves the bow, and it slows down steadily immediately after it leaves the string, so it definitely wasn't because it hadn't gotten up enough velocity to penetrate.
