Tikka T3 Hunter Factory Replacement Stock Price
« on: April 17, 2014, 09:12:29 AM »
Hi all,

I am getting ready to sell a brand new and mint condition factory replacement stock for a Tikka T3 Hunter(Walnut).  I called Beretta today to inquire about the value of said stock and they told me all factory replacement stocks for Tikkas are sold through Brownell's.  Upon reviewing their site I learned that their price for the stock is $748.61

http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/rifle-stocks/stock-tikka-t3-hunter-mf-prod31620.aspx?avs|Style_1=Factory%20Replacement

I am trying to determine how much I should list mine for and I was hoping people with more experience than I in these matters might chime in.

Thank you
Andres

Tikka replacement parts  are crazy expensive. Knowing that I sold my take off stock t3 lite stock for $20 bucks to a guy so he could cut it and have a youth stock for his kid. I would be fair with the price they are not a 700$ or even $150 stock IMO.

Thank you mrolen,

I meant to also ask which marketplace would be the best to sell a part like this?

Take a look at non factory and better stocks... bell and carlson, manners, mcmillan etc.  $250 ish for new, most would argue better stocks.  Factory originals aren't going to draw much.

You can buy the whole gun for the replacement stock price.    Here's a composite sold on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tikka-T3-Lite-Rifle-Factory-Stock-RH-All-Calibers-/321339092095     $66

I would probally list it for $60 bucks on gunbroker plus shipping. When I eventually put a B&C stock on mine I will sell the factory one for the same. Their always on eBay and they don't seem to sell very well. :twocents:

The guy at Brownell's told me they sell a few but not a ton.  I wonder if there is a higher demand for them in drier climates.

Same problem here that I explained in another thread.  I had a Sako A7 270wsm stock break on me and I ended up buying a Boyds stock for $100, I should have it on Monday.  As mentioned by other members Tikka/Sako parts are extremely pricey.

I bought a T3 stock at the gun shop for $550 several years ago, and they threw in the rest of the rifle with rings and all, new in the box.
