Very cool video,Thanks for posting it.

There was a thread on here some time ago where a buyer was talking about trappers just freezing whole carcasses and he would come by and buy them when you called.A friend of mine was asking me about this and wanted to know average price of these furs when the seller does not skin them vs when they are done. Can anyone explain this?

Say a $70. completed hide vs not even gutted.

I'm guessing that a buyer might pay half if he could be assured he is looking at a $70 coyote. Here's the rub though. there are so many variables he has to consider. First thin is what is hid when he looks at that coyote. Not that you are trying to pull one over on him but it is shot and covered in blood or has been riding around in the bed of a truck for how long or maybe frozen in a ball. The buyer has to make allowances for surprises and remember he doesn't know what the market will be when the yote is sold.

I think if you get half you would be doing good.

yes $20-$25 for a good eastern dog which is pretty good considering the amount of time to skin flesh , put up and comb and clean

I provide a service to cattle ranchers year around that have problem coyotes.  I also provide guided night hunts year around. I sell Night Vision and Thermal optics. The scopes I use are the NVision Halo XRF and Pulsar Merger XL50 LRF HD Binoculars

I'm not sure how many people sell their yotes, I was going to give him anything I got last winter but never made it out. Too busy wrangling birds and new babies. I've got his info saved for next winter though.

I bought about 500 coyotes last fur season. More than half was whole frozen yotes. There is another buyer in Pateros, WA that buys just as many. Both of us run routes throughout Eastern Washington & Eastern Oregon. Fur is prime and marketable from late October to late Feburary. I post all my routes on my Facebook page as well as several other Facebook groups. I posted info on HW last year but it didn't generate much activity. I will start buying again in November. Just shoot, bag and freeze.
