Sent out my REM 700 to ADCO.  They received it on Thurs and back here on Monday.  Had 4" taken
off the barrel and re-crowned.  Very quick turnaround. Only $30.00.

I have a SPS varmint .308 with 3" off and a re-crown... Much nicer then the 26" bbl.  Turns something kind of cumbersome into a good length...

It sure does. I mainly hand call so no need for the 26" barrel.  Most of my shots are under a 100 yards.  It makes the rifle much easier to swing around
in the brush also.  My SPS is in 22-250.
