long range practice
«
on:

I made it out today to do some shooting and since nobody else was out I was able to shoot far. I was shooting 110 yards. And the pic is my second group of the day. Doing pretty well.

I recognise that range have shot there since i was a kid. Usually the rendezvous shoot. That is good shooting at 110 yards. What bow are you shooting?

Nice job!
What is sad is that I know guys who are content with groups like that at under 40 yards.
They wouldn't be able to hit within 20 feet of those bales at 110.

This was the next group I shot at 110.
Bow is a vendetta XL. 12 inch stab and set up for WA legal hunting. Range is evergreen archery in Spokane WA
Practice this far makes 20-30 like chip shots.

My buddies and i were just talking about the 3D shoots up there. You need to really know what your target is because there are so many whitetails and turkeys running around. A freind of our family drew down on a deer one time and it started walking he thought it was the target until it moved. Fun place to shoot.
