Area 3 is huge and there are thousands of places to find birds, they need resting water and food, find those and you have a duck hunt.

Get an Atlas and Gazatteer and do some scouting.  Go to the fish and game headquarters and look at their maps for hunting areas.

The internet is nice but it has it's downfalls, if anyone posts a good hunting spot on the net you won't be able to find a parking spot come openning day.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

If that is where I am almost sure it is, it is not in area 3  :chuckle:

No, that’s not in area 3; hard place to hunt too.

It's pretty close, I think you'll be ok.  Just make sure you follow all CG regulations when hunting in that location.  They'll getcha good.

We have not hunted 3 yet. We hunt area 2 on Squalichew Lake and see geese every once in while out there. They are always passing by but very seldom stop on the lake.
I wish we can hunt area 3 south, now that holds a ton of ducks

Maybe we will check it out tomorrow  :dunno:

Nice goose, from the previous posts, and background on the pic the TA looks familar. Havent seen the 2 dozen geese that were out there a couple weeks ago, hoping to get out on sat to a couple areas and kill some. If you did get it on lewis good job, only got 2 shots all of last season at geese out there.
