Silvers are thick in the Skagit ....
« on: September 07, 2012, 08:22:53 PM »
BUT I CAN NOT CATCH ONE  :dunno: :bash: :bash: Yeah the water is to clear and I can not get them to bite sheet ...even got peeeesed and went to 6 lb test leader ... this happens when the water is low and clear ...but as soon as we get some rain and there is a little color in the water in will all change ....I had them literally jumping off my rod tip tonight ... I think I better bring by bow with a carp arrow and try getting them in the air  :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: ALL THATS ILLEGAL HUH  :bdid: :chuckle: :chuckle:

If you're not doing it already, go to fluorocarbon line, and wee dick nites. It's amazing that those little buggers catch salmon, but they do!

yeah. I'm probably going to wait until the 16th when it opens towards my house.  There's a hole that i've already caught 7 out of this year.  It's weird because they hold in that hole, but not really anywhere else.
