I don't really consider that a big one.

It's really more like yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Eagerly waiting my spot in line to get this mounted, but finally have a date set next week to get him scored. Next to my previous biggest buck. What do you think it will score? 20” outside width and just under 7” bases

150 and I think I’m be conservative.  What did it score?

@PNWheckle

Just a hair under 161 gross and 157 net. The mass and 4 eyeguards is what helped imo.

I'll guess 157"
Good guess, net was 157 3/8, 160 7/8 gross, scored under the non typical category

That's the type of blacktail that haunts my dreams. Massive, dark and gnarly everything a giant blacktail should be. The mount turned out awesome too, congrats  :tup:

I've seen a couple great blacktail bucks, alive, but none like that. Damn.  :tup:

The biggest I've ever seen had a frame similar to that buck, but not near the mass or character. Bodywise he was enormous. I had just shot the 2x3 that was with him, unaware he was there. Heartbreak.
