I know the blacktail deer seem to get out in the open more before, during and right after a heavy rain or heavy wind, but I haven't a clue what a roosevelt elk will tend to do in the same weather. In your experience what does the bad weather do to a west side elks movements, do they hunker down in the timber, do they hunker down in the open? do they move more or less than usual? I'll be out for late archery in the sw part of the state and this will only be my second season so I'm trying to get my a,band c plans together so I am as productive as possible no matter what the weather is. Thanks
