Nafa lotting
« on: May 28, 2013, 08:42:49 PM »
The auction is this week and I see all the lotting numbers are up. For those of you that have stuff on the sale how do your grades look? Mine look pretty good.

They always seem to throw in a few abreviations not listed. :chuckle:

We could make this a quiz. What does this mean? (I do know the answer)

XXL-XL  I-II     PL      4-5 RD,M.S.,HV

It does get a liitle murky on what 4-5 means when you haven't looked at a variety. :chuckle:

I'll give it a try

(size) double extra large to extra large

(grade) first to second

(clarity) off to red

(quality) round & heavy? I have no ideal what the MS would be but I am assuming we are talking beaver?

I was pleased with the grading on all my fur. It has been a long time since I had worked fur and had some concern about the "put-up". I was just happy not to see any SDG, DGD, III, IV or V's.

Here is the results of some of my rats.

SIZE                GRADE   |COLOR  |CLR| QTY
3XL-XXL              I-II                 GD,FAL     2

Nope it is a bobcat.
XXL-XL  double extra large to extra large
I-II    quality of pelt
 PL  pale
4-5  clarity of belly, not a good grade
RD, Red pertains to the back
M.S., Milk Stained a female with tits showing, not good
H  heavy length of fur

So I got size, grade and heavy right. Thats 3 out of 7, what did I win?
