Stuart/ Colchuck Lakes?

I was thinking about doing a day hike this Saturday up to either Stuart or Colchuck lake in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Does anyone know the fishing regulations on these lakes? I cannot seem to find the regs for them in the pamphlet or online. Also would these lakes most likely be clear of ice at this point?
