Camp is set up and ready
« on: October 20, 2013, 10:47:06 PM »
Made it up and set up camp wit my dad and cousins this weekend. We changed things up this year and went with wall tents instead of campers and trailers we will see how things go so far I'm digging the tent setup  going to be a long week of work daydreaming about being up at elk camp. Our neighbor camp gets started tomorrow with their observatory bull tags good luck to all.

haven't camped for hunting in a long time so mess those day's. always been small tents on hard ground with some small bits of foam to help soften it a bit but still mess those days. I did camp one late season a few years ago, but froze my bleep off lol.
Nice camp have fun!
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Wall tents are great! Fire up the stove and dry out and stay toasty.

We were off the 1701 two years ago but back in our regular old spot riders camp off the 3100 road in the manastash. Five more days can't hardly wait
