Taxidermy for birds?
« on: December 20, 2013, 11:29:05 AM »
Just got home from three months of bird hunting in Montana and came home with Pheasants to be mounted for some clients.  I'm looking for a Taxidermist who does birds in the Lewis County area.  Any ideas?
Thanks

My girlfriend just started up a taxidermy business here in pacific county and she is doing everything from birds to deer, to elk, to cougar and whatever you can throw her way. She literally just started up this month. We don't have a website yet but we are getting it all ready. PM me if you want to know more. Also, since she is just starting out she will give you a great deal on your bird, and if you're not happy with it, she will fix it for free.

Shipping them to either Willow Creek Taxidermy in Colville or Avian Artistry (Leon Mathews) in Kennewick would be my suggestion, I've used both with great results.  I'm sure there are other great taxidermists around, but those are the two I've got personal knowledge of.

I was going to ship birds to WCT, but never connected the dots.  That's where I would go.

I just did a little google search on Peters taxidermy and I think I would do more research before I took anything out that way.

My vote is to willow creek taxidermy. The quality they bring to the table alone is worth every penny. Then add the quality people they are and the professionalism they have, hands down I will never go anywhere else for bird taxidermy. After this new batch comes through, I will have had 15 birds done by John and Alyssa. Great business.
