Late Season Blacktail with Double Main Beam
« on: January 03, 2014, 10:13:32 AM »
This is actually a lot less impressive than it sounds, but the good news (maybe not for her) was that my gf was with me for the entire show.  The start of a second main beam there, probably would've been an impressive buck in a few years.  Up on the islands where deer hunting is easy...

Two things:
1) Is that not what your wife said later that night after you made a comment while she was cutting your hair?  :chuckle:
2) If you were the one holding the deer in that pic it would look huge....just sayin...
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

If she gutted it(field dressed for the harvest crowd) for you then you better get cracken on the proposal...
