I'm gonna call in a couple weeks after the dust settles, I don't know why but I love to find out how many points guys drew with.  Last year they earned it, all had over 12 points if I remember correctly.

I'm planning my scouting trip now. Can't wait to see the country. Any suggestions on where to start.  Everything I've heard so far is steep and deep. Was thinking about a drop camp .

Drop camp is a really good idea for that hunt. I wouldnt even think of going very far back in that country without mules involved. Drive over to teepee and look over the edge and decide for yourself though. You should be excited thats a great tag though.

I have a Muzzy Deer tag for that unit.  Sept 27-5th.  I will be hunting it hard for a week.  Who do I send the Elk pic's to?  I will be packing my canon 7D.  My buddy saw Bulls every day when he had my tag.

Pm'd you, Boomwhop.

Did you draw Wen East or Tucannon for your deer tag?  I will probably end up making 4-6 trips into Wenaha East via mule between now and Oct.  I will keep an eye out for any bucks...or someone carrying one on their back if we have an empty mule  :chuckle:
