So close!! 2 times now
« on: August 09, 2014, 09:33:02 AM »
Last sunday I had a bear feed out of the timber below me. I couldn't get a shot because of how thick this stuff is. I sat in the reprod with him/her close to an hour before he/she back into the timber. This morning It feed back across the reprod toward the timber. I probably could have shot, but he/she had just enough brush in front of it to keep me from shooting. I watched him feed back into the timber and then another one came across the the reprod, but I never saw it. Pretty sure it wasn't a cub because it lagged like 100 yards behind and in never did go into the timber where the other one went. It went over a small ridge and I never saw it or heard it again. Really hoping it wasn't a cub. Anyway wish me luck for tonight! :hunter:
