Last bull of the season for my group here in Wy, Mt here we come
darned awsome grats
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

My 2014 Rosie bull.

Shot this guy on my 6th day elk hunting. First three days I hunted with my buddy, and after that I was solo. I was farther from the truck that I should have been and came into a really elky area, slowed down, started still hunting, and found two elk feeding in an alder “clearing”. Shouldered my rifle, the one with antlers picked up his head to look at me and that gave me a shooting lane to plug him in the neck at about 80 yards.

Gutted him on the spot and took out a small load of meat out (Friday evening), got some assistance the next day (sat) hauling loads, and finally finished hauling him Sunday.

Between this guy and my deer, both of my freezers are packed.

You will never shoot a camp bull by spending all your time hunting in the woods.

Last day bull, 6x5 west side Rosie. Spotted from a mile away, planned a strategy with my buddy, hiked in and put the big boy down. Thanks to Randy and Corey, couldn't of done it without you guys. A big thanks to all that helped get the big boy out.

Opening morning on my first attempt ever with a mouth reed and grunt tube, I bugled in this 4 x4 and finally got a shot at 26 yards. My friend has a winch on his truck, and we were able to pull this bull right to the road. My first elk ever.

Bow:    70# G5 Primal

Arrow: Maxima Red

Broadhead: 125 grain Wasp Boss

Nicely done.....

Nice elk. Which tag was that. If you can kill those you can kill big deer.

Heading down to his place in the morn to run these two and my early season bull through the grinder
