I'm going over to my cabin on the 11 and hunting till the 18th.  If I get a deer early I'll hunt birds...... or fish, or something. I have a hip replacement on 10-21 so I want to have a  little fun before I'm carved up.
I hope the surgery goes uneventfully, and you fill your tag so you have something to think about during your rehab.

Heading to Idaho tomorrow for the deer and elk opener Friday. When I get done there, (I have an elk tag and two deer tags so it could be a while) If there is time, I'll stop by the NE corner to see if I can fill my Washington deer tag too. If there's not enough time, I'll be back over to the NE corner for the late season And if I still have any Idaho deer tags left, I'll hit the panhandle for the whitetail rut.

Heading out first thing Thursday morning, the 9th, to set up camp.  Plan on being there through the 19th.  Hopefully I will tag out early and can come home, but planning to camp the whole time.

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Got in to camp yesterday afternoon so I could get a few days of scouting in before the opening.

Just finishing packing up right now. Going to load the pickup before work, then go to work, and head out to the property we hunt and set up camp with one of the guys from our hunting camp that comes over from Olympia. Friday morning I'm going to dfive in to work and head back to hunting camp after quiting time. My old man and the rest of the guys will roll in Friday afternoon.

I have the whole season off. Going to hunt tough and see if I can't scrounge up a mature Palouse whitetail.

Nope no dummy camps for me, zzzzzzzzzz thats my reel with a big sucker on the line.

Forest Service installed a pooper for me though 20 yards from my camp spot.

Back to camp, gotta check on my visitor, hopefully she doesn't steal my food, but I don't think moose lime people food. :chuckle: :peep:

I got the notice I'm heading to WY and UT for work so I'm missing out on the opener... any luck and I'll be back to hunt next weekend.

My little brother had to call me tonight on his drive over to Winthrop. He was rubbing it... gotta love family :chuckle:

No deer hunting for me this year.  Wife had surgery on her feet and is still in a wheel chair.  I hope to make elk camp, we'll see.    At least I have been able to get out a couple times for a couple hours to hunt release birds to get the dog out.  Good luck to all.
