In 101 its been hot for a few days. I had mature bucks out in the daylight on 11th, 12th and 13th on multiple cameras across a very large portion of the unit. Since then I have reports from friends of it being red hot the last couple of days. It could still be good around thanksgiving but I think it will more likely be winding down by then.

I know 124 hasn't started yet. My dad and bro got done at my prop today and saw 12 does between the 2 of them and not 1 buck. But the last 2 weeks I've had 7-8 different bucks on cam

Have seen a dozen legal shooter bucks (4point min.)in the last 10-12 days. Not all were on ground that was hunt able ,  but just seeing them on the move is nice!

Been hunting in 121 and no sign at all for rut activity-now we officially done for the year and I'd say we hadn't actually hunted in the rut since 2006-2007... That's the last time we saw any similar rut activity. Very disappointing season again and I thought for sure since its been so cold that this would set them off... We have private property near Rice Wa and several 100 deer and maybe a spike or 2 in city limits but no legal bucks to report:(

Deer where crazy at my favorite property in 117. Neighbor kid came with and got a huge 4x4 with some junk. Saw 4or5 scrapes along the way. Buck was all thick necked. Not super stinky but belly was stained

101 was picking up when i left on the 16th...still had nice bucks come by and push does away with no intrest and alot of pics of bucks feeding. My dad had a huge fight near his stand during the night, blood, hair, uprooted bushes etc. Mu buddy lives in 124 and has seen bucks runing wild since last week I drive thru 127 everyday and have yet to see a buck chasing or with any does, but the rut always seems to peak a full week later in 127 versus 101 every years..some of the best rutting activity I have seen in 127 is Nov 23-27

Got back the other day from the West Klickitat and there was no rut activity at all for the week we were there.  We either were too late or too early.

Hunted unit 124 from Sat. 15th thru Tues. 18th. Around Colbert.  Deer moving around in groups of as many as 15.  some small bucks hanging out with the does and fawns but very little chasing going on, especially the first couple of days.  Saw 30+ deer each day but only one 4 point basket buck which was hanging out with 4 does.  He wasn't showing any signs of wanting to breed.  My 14yo son put a good shot on him and couldn't stop smiling when we walked up on it.  This buck's neck wasn't swollen at all and no stench.  Read other reports of rutting going on in this unit, but sure didn't seem that way where we were.   Saw a lot more bigger bucks during the late hunt last year.  Disappointed at the lack of bucks we saw this year.
