Those are fantastic.  i think I need a better tripod.  I tried some images oh, probably a couple months ago (time flies) of the comet, and everything was too shaky.   NICE :tup:

I have a BIG Gitzo tripod I bought years ago for holding my heavy 400mm f3.5 manual lens.  Has a heavy duty FOBA ballhead on it.  Big and cumbersome, but IT IS sturdy!   :IBCOOL:

My daughter had soccer training over in Seattle this weekend.  We stopped by glazers.  There were some awesome tripods there.  Next trip it's on my list.  I've been blessed by seeing some incredible aurora, but have yet to document any of them very well.
