Has anybody hunted the Clatskanie area for birds?  Any decent hunting around there?

Hunted it for 20 years.  Haven't in the past few as a few clubs have moved in the area.  More of a diver shoot now days if you hit it right.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I think he is asking about the river on this one.  Lot different on the river vs. private fields.  If you can get some of the farm land in the area, it can be a great shoot on puddlers and geese.  On the river, you will see lots of birds as they work back to the private spots.  Like mentioned main channel, more of a diver shoot.
