Lubricating shaffer opposition rest
« on: August 06, 2015, 10:20:30 PM »
What to use? I messed up... Tried to lubricate the rails and springs. It made things worse and now I know why, when weather is warmer the rest works flawlessly but if it cools even into the low 60's it doesn't open quickly enough. Wrong lubricant! Oh joy! Anyone have any idea on what to use so I can fix this stupid mistake I've made?

Thanks in advance.
