Photoshop experts wanted
« on: November 23, 2015, 11:28:14 AM »
Looking for someone who is talented with photoshop type of manipulation(im not :chuckle:)

I have always wanted to have a "Dogs playing poker" picture.....but with my dogs as the players.

Is it possible to do this and have it turn out good? Not sure about copyright issues when using such an existing picture...assume I could find a unprotected picture somewhere,  :dunno: (sample google images attached)

Any help, suggestions, would be awesome.  I am willing to pay for this to be done(as long as its reasonable)
Thanks, Nock

Yes it can be done. Yes, you're going to run into copyright issues. That means some emails and maybe phone calls. Good for you for wanting to respect intellectual property rights in an era of shameless larceny

Personally, I would rather 'stage' the photo in your home than using copy and paste in Ps but that's just me. The direction of light on the faces is easily taken for granted but to a skilled eye or even a layman who intently looks it becomes painfully obvious when faces are 'Photoshopped' into an image.  :twocents:

Bean, cant stage...a couple of the dogs I want in the picture have passed, only have photos to use. Maybe I could stage with the live dogs and leave open chairs for the "pictures only dogs". thx for the reply

skinzer, looks good, I am going to start with finding an original pic/print I can get permission to use. or try the above

What you need is a graphic artist moreso than a photoshop person.  They will be aware of how to appropriate and merge images.  :)

Yeah a composite would be a way to do it. If it were me I'd rather have that anyway--a photo of your home.
