Anyone have any experience with these boots under hunting/packing conditions?

Thanks,

I don't have experience with this boot, but I have been satisfied with the quality of a pair of low waterproof hikers by Garmont.

Nice looking boot. REI generallly doesn't sell crappy boots.

Do you know the model you have? How many years on the waterproofness?

Are you satisfied with the durability overall?

I don't think they are a bad boot, just trying to find out how much truth there is in the advertising.

They fit me like a glove.

They don't seem to currently offer any similar models.

They are about 8-10 years old and have never been wet through, but I mainly have used them as a W. WA wet weather shoe, when I don't want to wear boots.  Not a ton of hiking on them, but a few wet, muddy trips. I just cleaned them and retreated them for the first time this year.

Build quality is excellent with no delamination of the rubber sole or pulled/deteriorated stitching.  The only issue I have had is at the heel box, where the mesh heel/ankle  cushion is stitched to the sole, the mesh started to pull from the sole. I restitched it.

I'd spend that kind of money on another pair of Garmont, if the intended use was suitable for my purposes and the quality was still apparent, but I can't speak to your selection/use, and 8-10 years is a lot of time for a company to let quality slip or outsource to China.
