No need to be sorry Bearpaw. :dunno: I realize that you don't know me. But I also realize that based on that you are quick to judge. I want everyone that draws these tags to be successful. I know it hurts to burn eat these tags. If someone asks me I always try to help if I can. Just to give you a little insight other than the 7 words I typed in the beginning. I do enjoy this site and am an advocate. I will try in future not to post comments that erode its integrity.

Everyone should get a participation award!

I probably took it more seriously than I should have. No worries!

Hey! We could always go back to the two point thread!!
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

I see where you were coming from Dale.  For every 1 persons' attempt at humor, there are 10 more bullies waiting to pounce on posters from behind their keyboards.  It gets kind of old, liking slapping Marty McFly on the back after making fun of him.

Sooo...... Is this where I post to ask for advice for my brother's preaches ridge rifle bull tag? Where I might add we've never elk hunted before  :chuckle:
In my defense I have in the past and present helped out guys on here with advice on blues hunts. We'll get cameras out and do a lot of scouting, but if anyone wanted to give some tips or trade some info for blues info I'd gladly accept.
Did your friend draw the early sept tag, Oct 1st tag or the regular bull mid October tag?

I am one of those guys who drew a moose tag and had never stepped into that unit.
I did however do as much research as possible about the draw odds , succes ratios etc....
I knew 1 guy who had the tag in few years ago, and reached out for some advice about the unit.
I went on 1 3 day scout trip and the rest was research.
Turned out hunting with 3 new guys. Had the time of my life.

I know Brian was using this post to be funny, and it is.
I enjoy assisting hunters who need advice or help in units I have hunted.

Bottom line is its good karma to help fellow hunters👍

I'm one of those guys that could use a little help. I drew the archery any bull tag for peaches ridge this year my second time putting in for quality elk. Let's be honest, I didnt think I'd get it. I've never hunted there before. I'm thinking of coming in from i90. I will be buying a lot of maps to help but at this point I'm not even sure of a good entry point to start my scouting. If anyone would like to pm me with any advise/help it would be much appreciated. I plan on scouting almost every weekend until then and taking family that has hunted there but any help would be great. Thanks!

If Your scouting is not productive on the I-90 side PM me and I can give you some ideas for the 410 side.

Good Luck.

Thank you brianb231. More than likely I'll be taking you up on that offer. I'll probably check out both sides to help become familiar with the area.
