tikka .300

so my buddy has a .300 wm tikka and the shell wont extract. we have taken apart the bolt.... i guess i should have said this is a  brand new gun. primary issue is when he goes to shoot the gun will shoot but not extract the shell. it appears there is no plunge ejector? anyone seen this before? what have you done? i recommended this gun to him and hes asking why?

Have him contact Tikka about the issue and they should repair it without issue. Every company makes a mistake or produces a lemon once in a while.
