Anyone running a sawtooth tent?

I pulled the trigger this morning on tent, stove and liner.  Even added the mosquito netting for when I take the kiddos.

What's the approximate time frame to put up one of these? And how does it compare to a standard 2 person dome tent? I have an ozark 2 man dome but, if it's going to be more comfortable/similar time set up and tear down I'd be willing to change it up.

I'd be willing to wager that setup time will be same or faster.  No comparison on space, not even close.  Ability to run a stove and probably less weight depending on poles and stove.

My seek outside XL stove and 9 foot pipe weighs 4.5 lb. and fits in small laptop sized bag.

The setup is just as easy and quick. It takes some getting used to no floor and a routine of keeping your gear clean. I've spent quite a few nights in the sawtooth, if you are serious about changing setups I would try and stayin one first. I have the seek outside cimmaron now and light outdoors stove, the cimmaron is a lot cheaper, the sawtooth is a little bigger but if your running the stove you are only going to be sleeping 2 people comfortable anyhow, I try and get away with my hammock and tarp or my BA 1 man tent as much as possible

They fold up small and are made for backpacking, check out the light outdoors stove's. They are lighter cheaper and in my opinion all around better design. My stove and 8' pipe is like 2.6lb's for the 18" stove. With tent and stove I'm right around 7lb's, split that between two people and that's not much for backpack hunting with wood heat.

Ive got the smith stove and the titanium sheets roll up, its pretty slick. The first time setting them up is a learning experience but after that its pretty easy.  Super easy to pack and well worth the couple pounds.

probably a backpack next.  One more year with the eberlestock j34 then onto a kifaru bag.
