I wouldn't lose hope if you don't draw initially.  My guess is that there is a jump in the number of returned tags this year.

Ya I’m nervous, we’ve drawn our tags every year but once for the last 20 years with no points. We will see how much this change hurts us...
that will be heart breaking if it creeps.  I'm in the same boat but we draw on a second choice.  I'm burning on a 4th season this year though

You shoot some nice bucks for a 2nd choice draw.

Congrats JJ! It's going to be a challenge beating last year's success!

Now where are those elk results?

I’m going to need some luck according to that, 265 people applied and 165 drew with 0 points.. ugh.

It'd be nice if they would just post already.  They've obviously crunched the numbers.

Thanks!  Same unit group but most likely a different area.  This year will be the earliest dates before the reset.  It would be nice to find one in velvet.

It’s weird that bobcats post shows up as a link but I couldn’t click my way to it from the fwp website. It seems to be legit info but they haven’t published it yet maybe.

It's kind of a back door way in to the draw results. Someone just changed the "7" in the address from the 2017 results to an "8" You can do it with other species as well. Except elk is what I have read.
