Winchester model 70 extreme weather
« on: January 12, 2019, 10:22:14 AM »
Just curious if anyone has experience with the model 70 extreme weather line. What type of out of the box accuracy could one expect? Any known issues?

Best,

Westside

I do not own one, but have spent a good deal of time researching them and watching videos on them. Things I have heard have been positive. I believe it was released this year in 6.5 Creedmore. I am strongly considering one for deer.

I have 3, in .308, .30-06 and 300WM, all three have exhibited usable accuracy with various factory loads (<1"@100 yards), i have developed loads for the 308 and the 300WM, not taken on the 30-06 yet.  I was able to reduce that by 30-50% by handloading.  They are solid rifles by my estimation.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?

What we have here is...Washington Department of NO Fish and WATCHABLE Wildlife.
