I’ve hunted it for cows the last few years late ML. It’s a totally different unit by then, almost entirely dependent on weather conditions. However, I know there are some year-around resident herds in there! I’ve bumped into them where I would least expect them in that unit!

I assume your being sarcastic, but I wasn’t asking if anyone else drew the tag to find out where the elk are. I’m fully aware of where they’re at and to be quite honest it is a good cow unit you just have to know where to go.

South of king mountain is where we used to always find elk when I hunted there.

We've got one in our group. Honestly a good tag to have in my opinion, it's the only cow tag I put in for! Good luck with the hunt!!
